Amy had to purchase some frames for her upcoming exhibit  at Bleeding Heart Gallery on Friday, so we went along and accompanied her to ikea.

happy at home

as much as i love complaining about the backwards-small-town that my home town is, i do enjoy going back home once in a while. or at the least, the drive there.

i also like a particular view of our house

this is one of the walls inside our house. i think it's peculiar, but my parents thought it was a hoot so they left it there since they bought the house ten odd years ago.

i tried the tumblr thing for a few months, i found that it wasn't for me. i never reposted, i never '<3'ed', i never posted webcam photos of myself sitting at home "chilling" with full make up on, listening to elliott smith as i sip my chai tea. i prefer the quiet easiness that blogspot provides me - there was never any pressure to interact with other bloggers that tumblr comes with. in summary, i will be quietly posting here, with no pressure for my entries to be "seen" or "<3'ed" by others.

George, Amit and I decided to go on a dayventure to Coochiemudlo Islands a few weeks ago, purely because we liked the name of the destination.
